Holy Not Writing Batman
A week with the flu followed by a week to clean and pack, followed by a flight home where my oldest got sick on the planes (yes, both of them). Then him being sick, me looking for a car, jet lag, my littlest being home with me. It takes a much stronger woman than me to write too. Someday I hope to be that woman, but right now with the world topsy turvy my mind lingers on things that aren't my stories. This weekend will be a bust too. We're going to visit my family whom we haven't seen in a year, but my littlest is being held hostage by grandma for the week and my oldest should be well enough and adjusted enough to go back to school. Leaving me 7:30 to 2:30 to work on the house and writing. I'm thinking of trying the write for a half hour and do something else for a half hour trick. So I'll start posting progress again on Monday where I'm hoping to finish the short, Beloved, and start a fast draft (20 pages a day for two weeks) on Fallen. I'd love to push myself harder and go for 40 pages a day, but I'll have to see what time permits. I still need to set up a writing area which includes getting a desk which means I need to get a cheap car so I can afford a desk. :) Funny how that works.

Glad to see you've survived the move. My move a year ago was half a mile from point A to point B and it took me weeks to get back on track, or to even find the track. Brava for getting back to writing quickly.
You're back! You're back! I was starting to worry about you. I'm glab everyone had a safe trip back home. Have fun writing!
I'm glad you made it back safe and sound, Amanda!
Good luck with all of the unpacking/ sorting etc.
Take care & good luck with the writing.
So glad you're back, Amanda! And bummer about the flu, especially flu on the plane (I'd take snakes any day over that).
Don't let the not-writing get you down, you've got so much going on right now I think it would take a total masochist to sit down and write amongst all of the stuff you've got going on.
Best of luck with the FD!
